Mr. Pravin Tripathi is a Procurement Professional with 30years of experience.
Currently he is leading the Global Procurement function at Apollo Tyers Ltd with team located in India, Singapore and Europe.
He is an alumni of the prestigious Shri Ram College of Commerce and Faculty of Management Studies, University of Delhi.
Mr. Tripathi has attended Executive Development Programme at IMD Lausanne, Switzerland and IIM Ahmedabad
His areas of interest include sustainable Procurement, Studying Commodity Markets and Global Marcro-Economic events.
In tune with the 'Atmanirbhar Bharat' policy announced by the Hon'ble Prime Minister, a project for supporting development of new rubber plantations in North East & West Bengal and improving quality of processed form of rubber has been was conceptualised under the guidance and active mentoring of Mr Piyush Goyal, Hon'ble Minister for Commerce and Industry, Government of India. The project is designed to implement the scheme for developing 200,000 hectares (ha) of rubber plantations in the North Eastern states and West Bengal financially supported by major tyre companies, represented by ATMA with technical support and coordination by the Rubber Board. This collaborative project in PPP mode involving tyre majors, Rubber Board and financing institutions is a landmark initiative and the first of its kind in the country where the consuming industry would be working hand in hand with agencies involved with production of Natural Rubber, with the goal of increasing the availability of this raw material within the country and contribute towards upliftment of farmers and other value chain actors in the region.
